I Am the Master of My Thoughts

I am the master of my thoughts. I am in control of what I think, what I believe, and how I see the world.

You have heard that there are two ways to see a glass of water– half full, or half empty. Positive thinkers are supposed to see the glass as half full. Negative people are supposed to see the glass as half empty. Cynical people see the glass and complain that they just don’t make glasses like they used to make them. Then, there are those people that see the water and start complaining that the government, or some other entity, is slowly killing the masses with cancer-causing chemicals and rat poison (sodium fluoride). Get a grip!

YOU are the master of YOUR thoughts.

If you constantly see negativity and conspiracy in everything, you are only destroying your attitude and your will to live. Life should be abundant and it cannot be if you continually see darkness and evil lurking in the shadows or ill-tidings around every turn.

When you see the glass as half full, you are seeing the capacity for abundance. When you believe in your heart that you are successful in life, you will reap abundantly. Your thoughts sow the seeds that will give you a bountiful harvest. Like the farmer who plants seed and tends the soil, removing the weeds and caring for his crop, your mind is ready for planting. The seeds are your thoughts. The weeds are the cares of this world and the poisonous thoughts that choke good ideas and positive attitude.

Be grateful for the blessings you have received and prepare to receive more. Don’t let negative thoughts dominate your mind. Remember the words of Norman Vincent Peale, “Believe and succeed.”
