You Are What You Think You Are

You Are What You Think You Are. If you don’t like your life the way it is, then ask yourself what you want your life to be and put it on paper– commit yourself to it.

You become what you think of yourself. If you think of yourself as a failure, you will become a failure. If you think of yourself as a success, you’ll become a success. Now, let’s put that in perspective. Success should not be measured monetarily. Success should be measured by accomplishment. Some people are happy with enough money to pay their bills and never aspire to be a multi-millionaire. Others long to be “rich” and envision themselves living a luxurious life. At this point, you need to define what success means to you, because that is going to help you become what you want.

I would encourage you not to long for money, instead, long for the life-style that you want to live. Count your accomplishments as successes. If you love what you are doing, the money will follow if you can monetize it. Not all forms of accomplishment lead to money, so again, define what it is that you WANT to accomplish.

When you have a vision of your “Perfect ME” and you work toward becoming that, each accomplishment brings you closer to the goal and improves your satisfaction quotient. When your “Perfect ME” vision and your “REAL ME” perception match, you have reached your goal. At that point, you should be thoroughly satisfied.
